The "VANS MaxMat" (max-matt) is designed for those who desire a premium sneaker for a reasonable price. The upper is comprised of a black synthetic tumbled leather along the ankle as well as part of the midfoot. The upper also contains a red synthetic suede which wraps around to the medial side of the foot. The eyelets are black metal while the zipper running accross the midfoot has a metallic gold finish. The tooling is contructed as a normal Vans vulcanized sole.
